Stone Road Mall
This two-phase, eighteen-month expansion and renovation of 90,000 square feet encompasses the redemise and upgrade of 45,000 square feet of existing space and a 45,000 square foot addition. The construction involved an extension of the existing North/South corridor which included a new entrance at the South end of the building. This expansion project also comprises the reconfiguration of the current west parking areas to allow for the larger building footprint, and to facilitate greater access to and from Stone Road West and our new anchoring tenants: Marshalls, Sport Chek, Forever 21, Tootsies and the Bank of Montreal.
Medicine Hat Mall

The redevelopment of the former Target premise consists of 118,000 square feet of redeveloped area, consisting of a new retail wing and new mall entrances, a new 575 seat food court with 12 food outlets along with a 23,000 square foot Marshalls and a 21,000 square foot Home Sense store. Along with an expanded Galaxy Theatres Xscape, several other new retailers will be added to the centre over the coming months. In addition, several improvements were made to the parking lots and accessibility from the major access roads to promote increased traffic to the centre. The majority of the project is anticipated to be complete in Fall of 2017 with some additional renovations continuing into spring 2018.
St. Albert Centre
St. Albert, AB
This redevelopment of the former Target premise consists of 117,000 square feet of improved area, consisting of new retail space, a new mall entrance and common areas, a new branded exterior façade and new public washrooms. The layout is designed to provide expanded anchor and fashion uses to the Centre while improving circulation throughout the mall with a new racetrack design. Completed in August 2017, Phase 1 includes the new entrance, restrooms, London Drugs, Winners, and Mark’s with over 20 additional retailers opening in the new mall wing between now and winter 2018. Phase 2, which includes upgrading the main entrance, is anticipated to be completed in December 2017.
Sherwood Park, AB
This redevelopment of the former Target space consists of 116,000 square feet of redeveloped area, including a new 64,000 square foot Safeway, a new 24,000 square foot Indigo! store and 28,000 square feet of future space for office or retail uses. The project also included improvements to loading dock facilities and parking lots to accommodate the two new retailers in the centre. Safeway opened in the Spring of 2017 and Indigo! will open by the Fall of 2017.
The former Target store in Kingston consisted of a two level 113,000 s.f. store. The reconfiguration plans involves creating a new front entrance, with two levels of glazing, and a completely new facades. The upper level will have two large non-major anchor stores and new common area that links to the mall. One of these stores will also have their own exterior entrance. The lower has two major tenants facing on to the common area adjacent to the recently completed new food court. There will also be new units on the lower that are accessed from the new upper common area with their own vertical transportation. This program also includes constructing a new passenger elevator in centre court to service the customers better. The existing escalators are being relocated to another location in the mall to facilitate this addition. Pre-planning was done in 2016 and construction has started in early 2017. The construction program is being completed in one phase and involves the relocation of some existing retailers. It is expected that the new mall and the first new tenants will be open early in 2018.
